Standards to Keep Up Beat

Standards to Keep Up Beat

by Leila Rousseau
(please read using a forceful woman's English accent)

Things to tell your man servant, when directing control:

"Fetch my paraplui, I'm going for a stroll."

"I'll have some tea before you start getting ready, thank you."

"I'm not listening to your propagations momentarily, I'm thinking of lilies and the office. Do give me some time."

"Talk me through this nonsense, I'm endeavouring to justify your inefficiencies."

"I am rather thoughtless, please advise me of your problems, by e-mail or fax, if indeed it is necessary I know them."

"Darling, swing by and collect the mail, there are far too many bills in the letterbox. Pay them chronologically if you will."

"Wandering down memory lane can invite you to some bad company, remember mine and you must forget the rest."

"Drown in your misery, I'll be in the next room as your breath of fresh air when you're ready!"

"Tell me when you have found a cure for your lust, until then, I must get away"
